Here is Alyeska when she was 5 years old.

And this is a poem she wrote, at age 5, while in Kindergarten, about talking to animals.

I Have A Dog

My dog talked to me. 

 I said, "What?" 

He said, "I love you." 

And I love him too. 

 

Here are a few other pictures of Alyeska.  In the next one, she is 7 years old, sitting at the kitchen table.  This is one of my favorite photos.

Now, don't get me wrong.  This girl isn't always sweet and thoughtful. She takes after her dad in that she also has a Wild and Crazy side.
