It’s
important for humans not to project what you feel about animals when
trying to understand them. If
you simply take the time to observe, you will learn a tremendous
amount. By observing, I
mean not having to try to look for anything or trying to understand
or communicate, but just observing. It’s not about putting us on a
pedestal or glorifying us. It
is about connecting with us and seeing how much we are all the same. We are no better necessarily. It just means that we have different aspects of the Great
Life to teach, learn and share with you.
Obviously, we animals have greatly benefited from a lot of human
interaction. Humans
have taught many of us many things. Humans have taken great care of many of us. There have been many, many humans who have done good work for
animals and the environment. Animals
have destroyed a lot too. Were
animals equipped with the technology that humans have, I’m not
sure that animals would necessarily be better.

Magic
~ Raphaela
Pope and Pluto (horse)
Pluto is a
Lippizon, a wonderful horse. I told Pluto about this book and asked him what he would like
humans to know. He
said, Tell the
people that there really is magic. There really are beings (such as nature spirits) beyond your
normal senses, and you will be able to talk to them and receive
their information and wisdom as easily as I do. Assure everybody there really is magic.
The other thing he gives me is a picture of truly gorgeous rolling
hills, and he says, Be content. Eat grass. It's
funny; you get some very elevated perspectives and then some really
basic views. It’s
wonderful!
Pluto adds,
We're entering a time when humans and animals will be
closer together, will understand each other better. People will know that animals have an interior life, their
own purposes, and sincere and intense relationships. When people understand and respect this about the animals,
they will be more forbearing and respectful of each other.
Pluto is reminding me of a reading I did for his person and him in
which he spontaneously showed me that they had past lives together,
that he was a cavalry horse and she was a soldier. He's now saying,
Less war; less conflict. It's poignant because I think they actually died in this
battle. Maybe it's
going on as we speak. Who
knows? The Universe is
mysterious.

The
Mystery ~ Spirit
of Cat through Nedda Wittels
Much of the mystery of cats has been assigned to cats by humans. Cats do not find themselves particularly mysterious. The key to the mystery seems to be that felines are so very
independent and yet still align themselves with humans. The humans who feel that this is a mystery are those who have
forgotten or do not understand that cats are very sentient and were
designed by the Creator Source to link with and work with humans.
All species are equally important to the health and well being of
the Earth. Cats are
particularly important in this time of transition to higher
frequencies of consciousness because they have chosen that role out
of love for humanity. Do
not mistrust their independence. That independence is their strength and is also a message to
humans: Trust your inner knowing, your inner or higher Self, which
is the expression of God/Goddess/All That Is within you.
Many cats are also performing healing for humans and the Earth. They are great and powerful workers with energy. They are particularly helpful for healing and transmuting
energies. If you choose
to align yourself with feline energy at this time, you will find one
or more cats helping you adjust to the new frequencies, and this
will assist your personal transition to higher consciousness.
I send my personal blessings to all who wish to be in touch with me. Ask for my assistance and I will gladly give it, especially
when you ask in the name of one of my felines. Thank you, Spirit
of Cat.

Joy
~ Marcia
Ramsland and Flying Insect
A flying insect, a nondescript something, was buzzing around me. So I asked, “What do you have to say?” And there was great joy.
This little thing said, There is consciousness in all
things. Believe it!
It also wanted to say that it wished people didn’t have such a
campaign against insects. But
mostly it was there in sheer joy to say that consciousness is
everywhere and it doesn’t matter the size of the body.

Purpose
~ Morgine
Jurdan and Spirit of Lions
I asked the Lions to share with me, as a group, their purpose in
life and what they would like to share with humans at this time. After the lions spoke to me, I was not sure I would share the
message. It was quite
strong and not as gentle as others have been. When I went back to
the animals, they reminded me about what I teach. Every animal is an individual and responds differently to
each one of us. So,
here is what I received from the Lions:
You ask us what is our purpose in the grander overall scheme of
things and we find this amusing. You humans figure each form of life must serve some
“purpose,” must have some grand role, something to shape its
life and destiny. We
do, however, find it amusing (please forgive us) to use your
language and ways of communicating (which are so limiting), to
explain this to you.
Nature, including all animals, insects, weather as you call it
(wind, rain, sun, storms, etc.), communicates in ways you cannot
understand, at levels which are not perceptible to you. You try to know us better. Why we wonder? Because
the planet is dying and you would like to learn from us? We are a bit arrogant.
You
come to us because you desire to save yourselves, to save the planet
on which you live. If
it were bigger and there were more resources, you might not be
making this connection and asking these questions.
The greatest gift we could give you is to begin to look at yourself
as individuals, and begin to recognize how you, not we, play a part
in the overall picture. As you each heal yourselves, we are all
affected in ways that are not truly even imaginable to you at this
moment in time with your linear thinking.
We lions reside in every heart, as you humans reside in our hearts,
in every heart. People
do not suffer alone, no one does. We all experience starvation, hunger, pain. We call out to each other for healing. We call out to each other for help. We cry out in pain, as
one species after another disappears from this dimension and yet,
most of you do not hear us. You
do not really see us. You
do not really know us.
We could tell you our purpose and the meaning would be one
dimensional, like looking at a tree on a piece of paper, instead of
in person, in real life. We
will offer you a warning.
Many humans feel they are at the apex of evolution, the crowning
glory of God’s achievements. And yet, you strive to isolate yourselves from the very
essence that gives you life. You
do not know what it is like to be a “real human being,” feeling
and sensitive, living in balance and harmony with the environment in
which you are so immersed and inseparable from.
When humans see lions, they think of power, leadership, pride,
kings. You feel we are
at the top of the pecking order, because you see us through your own
filters of domination, control and hierarchy. All the qualities you relegate to us can also be seen in a
wren or a shrew. When
you are willing to truly feel your greatest pain, to suffer your
greatest sorrow, to grieve your greatest loss, only then will you
experience your greatest joy, your greatest happiness, and your
greatest love. For when
you truly learn to love, the questions will cease, and the answers
will come effortlessly and always.
Life
is about being alive in each and every moment, truly feeling and
breathing in each and every experience. We lions do not live in the past, or worry about our future. We enjoy the present moment fully.
True healing of the world of which you are an important part begins
one person at a time. When
you love from your heart, each and every living being on this
planet, each and every form of life, is blessed. The more you love, the more we are blessed. The rest is up to you.

Consciousness Raising
~ Penelope
Smith & Manatees
& Wolves
Here is what the manatees say to me:
We are a gentle species on the earth. We cannot defend ourselves. If our gentleness goes, this will be a loss to the
whole planet. People
are waking up to their own gentleness, so our feeling is that they
will take care and help us. If
they do not, then it will be a loss to the selves through the ripple
of the web of life.
The manatees are very trusting. They hold gentleness and vulnerability for us. They hold for us the realization that we’re the same way on
the earth; we’re very vulnerable and we need to emphasize our
gentleness. The feeling
I get is of trust. The
message coming out of the water from them is, “Humans, we give you
our gentleness. We give
you our trust. Do with
it what you will.” There
is complete surrender.
As for wolves, they have an incredible connection with humans, even
much more deeply since they’ve been nearly decimated. Their power is quite enormous. Here is what I get from them:
We are the symbol of eternity, of persistence, of coming back that
all species are capable of and that we have aligned with. How we came back is that we aligned ourselves. Instead of resisting humanity’s destructive impulses, we
aligned ourselves with humanity and said, “We are your friends.” All of the species do that; some give up sooner and need to
go from this plane because they do not have that persistence and
that tenacity.
We wolves are very tenacious. We
are like people in a lot of ways. We are survivors and we grab for what we need when we need
it. That’s our
predator nature. When
you tuned into the others [the manatees], you saw they are not
predators so they don’t have that canniness, that wisdom, that
ability to survive even when the going gets tough.
We align ourselves with humans as predators. Even so, we could have given up. We could have been completely wiped out.
But we looked at humans, we looked into their eyes and we
mirrored them and they saw us. So many of them took us on as their brothers. Only in that alignment – which is our knowledge as
predators, how to align with the forces of survival – have we
survived.
When I feel the wolves, I feel their power and strength. Wolves have come up from real survival. With the manatees, I feel a different sort of quality. It is a kind of giving over of trust and surrender, and
that’s another aspect of survival also.
This is about the consciousness raising of all beings. More and more, the species are being raised up. And all it means is that people are looking at themselves in
the mirror. They’re
recognizing themselves in the web of life.
So, when you look at a manatee and see yourself, and when you look
at a wolf and see yourself, and when you look at a cockroach and see
yourself, that’s when we’ll be making it. And we are making it!
